Singer, songwriter, model, dancer, actress, philanthropist, X Factor Judge ... is there anything this Pussycat Doll can't turn her hand to?
On landing the most coveted job in show business, Nicole exclusively told us: 'It's a dream job. I love the UK; Cadbury’s chocolate, your obsession with tea and of course, the accents. The team welcomed me with open arms. Louis threw a birthday party backstage in my honor, the handsome Gary Barlow showed me the ropes and it's been great hanging out with Tulisa'.
The Hawaiian hottie first circled the celebrity orbit on the US reality show Popstars as part of girl group Eden's Crush. Nicole adds: 'It was way back in 2001. We won the competition. It was quite an experience; full of highs and lows. Having appeared on a televised singing contest, I’m able to empathize with the contestants. I can relate to what they’re all going through emotionally'.
In 2003, Nicole joined The Pussycat Dolls as they made the transition from burlesque troupe to world conquering girl group. With Nicole on lead vocals, The Pussycat Dolls high-kicked and tassel-twirled their way to success with chart-topping hits like Beep and Stickwitu. To date, they’ve sold a whopping 52 million records worldwide. Don't Cha just love that? Err, sorry - we couldn't resist it.
Having sold 5,600,500 records, Nicole ranks as one of the UK's best-selling international artists.
No stranger to The X Factor, Nicole was a Judge on last year’s US X Factor. The singer also guested on the UK X Factor in 2010 where she was credited in the formation of One Direction, setting teenage girls' hearts aflutter across the nation.
